As part of the northeast Gulf of Mexico oceanographic studies, the Minerals Management Service (MMS) Environmental Studies Program, MMS, USGS, and USF are developing quasi-operational products from satellite data for the northeast Gulf of Mexico. Current Imagery and Archives
The current imagery and archive from the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) sensor, seen on these pages, has been processed by the USGS using data originally collected at the USF-FMRI Joint Use Facility.
