Travel & Logistics

We will use the facilities of the US Geological Survey, St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our Center is roughly 45 minutes from the Tampa/St. Pete airport. Please plan your travel to be able to begin discussions on Monday afternoon, Feb. 12th, 2001.

Ground transportation from the airport to the Hilton is available. The Hilton is within walking distance of our Center, so rental cars may not be necessary.

Funding:

A limited source of funding is available to cover travel/per diem, especially for participants who are traveling from out-of-state. Except for these limited cases, you will be responsible for your own travel and food.
