The Pleistocene surface drops from north to south across the lake. This surface, characterized as a very stiff, olive-grey clay, outcrops onshore north of the lake, and drops to deeper than 12 meters along the south shore. The material overlying the Pleistocene contains bioturbated silty muds deposited since the last sea level rise. |
