Map of Study Area
The tidal wetlands of Florida's Big Bend dominate the coastal environment
in 8 counties from Wakulla southward to Pasco along the Gulf coast. This section
of coastline offers a stable, low-energy enviornment resulting in tidal marshes
that have remained relatively pristine over time.
