Discrete Carbonate System Parameter Measurements in Tampa Bay, Florida, USA
By Kimberly K. Yates, Christopher S. Moore, and Nathan H. Goldstein
USGS, St. Petersburg, Florida
Summary
This data set contains time series and spatial measurements of discrete seawater samples analyzed for carbonate system parameters including water temperature (°C), salinity, pHT (pH on the total scale), dissolved oxygen (mg/L), total alkalinity (micromol/kg), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) (micromol/kg), nitrate + nitrite (micromol/L), nitrite (micromol/L), silicate (micromol/L), ammonium (micromol/L), phosphate (micromol/L) silicate (micromol/L). These data were collected in Tampa Bay, Florida by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center. Samples were collected every four hours for 24 hour time periods during May 2015.
