Version History for Data Release: Reynolds, C.E. and Richey, J.N., 2023, Gulf of Mexico sediment trap foraminifera data: U.S. Geological Survey data release, https://doi.org/10.5066/P9O76R8R ________________________________________________________ First posted online as: Reynolds, C.E., Richey, J.N., Fehrenbacher, J.S., Rosenheim, B.E., and Spero, H.J., 2018, Globorotalia truncatulinoides sediment trap data in the Gulf of Mexico: U.S. Geological Survey data release, https://doi.org/10.5066/F72806W4. Richey, J.N., Thirumalai, T., Khider, D., Reynolds, C.E., Partin, J., and Quinn, T.M., 2019, Globigerinoides ruber sediment trap data in the Gulf of Mexico: U.S. Geological Survey data release, https://doi.org/10.5066/P9KK7UD6. ________________________________________________________ Revised and republished September 11, 2023 Changes from the previously published data releases listed above: 1. The previously published sediment trap foraminifera flux data were originally calculated to a 0.5 meter-square area, instead of 1 meter-square area. Therefore, the Raw_Counts_and_Flux_Data.zip (doi:10.5066/F72806W4) and G_ruber_Flux.zip (doi:10.5066/P9KK7UD6) zip files were withdrawn from their original publications. The foraminifera flux calculation was corrected to a 1 meter-square area and the data is republished in GMT_foraminifera_data.zip (doi:10.5066/P9O76R8R). The original metadata records were also versioned, Gtrunc_metadata (doi:10.5066/F72806W4) and G_ruber_metadata (doi:10.5066/P9KK7UD6), withdrawing the foraminifera flux metadata information. Please refer to the new metadata record, GMT_foraminifera_metadata (doi:10.5066/P9O76R8R), for more information about the corrected dataset.
