National Assessment of Storm-Induced Coastal Change Hazards

Beach Morphology

Datasets of beach morphology include features derived from topographic lidar, aerial ortho-imagery, and various bathymetric data types. These features are combined with hydrodynamic data to forecast probabilities of coastal change during storms.

Probabilities of Coastal Change

Probabilities of coastal erosion hazards publications include datasets for 1-km sections of coastline, dune crest and toe elevations, and hurricane-induced water levels summarized for each 1-km section of coastline.
