National Assessment of Storm-Induced Coastal Change Hazards

Oblique Aerial Photos

The USGS acquires aerial video and oblique photographs, before and after a hurricane's landfall to help understand the impacts of extreme storms on coastal environments. USGS digital photographs are geo-referenced so the corresponding locations can be easily plotted. Each data series below is comprised of jpeg images organized into 5 minute flight segments. A Google Earth KML file is also available for download in each data series.
